iLO 2/3 in 2026

1. install waterfox classic – https://classic.waterfox.net/
   
2. install java 8 from java directly https://www.java.com (havent been able to get opensource java to work sadly)
   
3. run ‘configure java’ then advanced tab and then enable use tls 1.0 and tls 1.1
   
4. open java.security in JAVAPATH/lib/security/ and remove TLSv1 and TLSv1.1 and 3DES_EDE_CBC from jdk.tls.disabledAlgorithms
   
   JAVAPATH = similar to C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_503\lib\security
   
5. open iLO ui in waterfox and make sure to click the allow plugin to run in the browser
   
   steps 3 and 4 MUST BE DONE EVERY TIME JAVA IS UPGRADED ON THE DEVICE!
